Downhill Tunnel: Work on the Services Network in the Bd. Charles III

As part of work on the downhill tunnel, the Public Works Office will connect the gas, electricity and telecom networks, etc.

This work, which will begin on Monday 2 November and is due to be completed at the end of the year, will affect the Bd. Charles III.   It will necessitate changes to the incoming lane of the Principality, which goes under the Millenium and will therefore pass in front of the building in question.

This diversion will not affect access to the Avenue Pasteur, the upward Rainier III tunnel and the "Dorsale" spine road, via the Canton underground roundabout.  The incoming lane towards the Canton roundabout will remain open.  The outgoing lane from the spine road in the direction of Cap d'Ail will also be kept open.
