Monaco Signs a Financing Agreement with the United Nations Office On Drugs and Crime (UNODC)

 On 8 November 2016, in Vienna, H.E Mme Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, Ambassador, Permanent Representative of the Principality of Monaco to the UNODC, and Mr. Jean-Luc Lemahieu, Director of the Division for Policy Analysis and Public Affairs of this Organisation, signed a Financing Agreement for a duration of two years (2016-2017), aimed at helping countries in the Sahel region (Burkina Faso, Mali, Mauritania and Niger) to strengthen their criminal justice systems with regard to combating terrorism and violent extremism. 

This programme is a continuation of Monaco's activities at the UNODC and, more generally, part of the Prince's Government's ongoing efforts to combat this problem.
