The NMNM Presents "H2O - Stories on Salt, Water and Sea"

On the occasion of artmonte-carlo and Nomad, the New National Museum of Monaco presented a culinary installation, "H2O - Stories on Salt, Water and Sea," designed by Arabeschi di Latte and curated by Cristiano Raimondi, who is responsible for development and international projects at the NMNM, at Monaco Boat Service in the Riva tunnel.

The theme for the evening was water, an increasingly scarce resource.  Arabeschi di Latte therefore encouraged participants to go beyond the concept of fresh water and focus on sea water and salt, with reference to Monaco's history, its relationship with the sea and the role it played in the salt route from the Mediterranean coasts to Northern Europe.

Various stories based on salt, water and the sea were presented in the form of food stations, with audience participation for those who so wished.
