Cross-border itinerary

 

 

1 - From Via Alpina to Fort Masséna

La Turbie

  • 9 am: Meet at the Louis II Stadium, Cap d’Ail entrance,

3 Avenue des Castelans, and depart by bus

  • 9.30 am to 12 pm: challenging hike along the paths of the Tête de Chien promontory and tour of Fort Masséna
  • 12:30 pm: return to Monaco by bus

 

The itinerary follows the gravel paths of the Tête de Chienpromontory. This four-kilometre mountain hike led by the Monegasque Alpine Club is aimed at those who enjoy fitness and sport. It is not recommended for children under eight or for those who suffer from vertigo.

 

Bus departs from and returns to Louis II Stadium only (special rate available at Stadium car park). No stops will be made en route.

 

Please ensure that you bring walking shoes, water, snacks, a windproof jacket, sunglasses and a hat.

A walking stick, camera and binoculars would also be useful.
