The seventh meeting of the Industry Observatory took place yesterday in the auditorium of Monaco's Vocational and Catering School (Lycée Technique et Hôtelier), a year after the Observatory was first created.

This anniversary meeting was chaired by Mr. Jean Castellini, Minister of Finance and Economy, in the presence of Mr. Serge Pierryves, Director of the Business Development Agency.  The meeting was an opportunity to present the content of the work of the Industry Observatory in detail to the business heads present and give an overview of this work following the six meetings that have been held.

The Prince's Government wished to thank the 60 industrial businesses from the Principality who contributed to the work of the Industry Observatory in 2016 by inviting them to this first anniversary.

The Observatory's agenda for the 2017 financial year, announced at this meeting, includes topics as varied as the status of negotiations with the European Union, the transfer and financing of businesses and the presentation of testimonials of industrial business successes.
