This morning, at the Fairmont Hotel, the Monegasque athletes who will take part in the PyeongChang Olympic Winter Games (in South Korea), to be held from 9 to 25 February 2018, were presented.

This event took place in the presence of H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince, Mr. Patrice Cellario, Minister of Interior, H.E. Ms. Yvette Lambin-Berti, Secretary General of the Monegasque Olympic Committee and many dignitaries.

The ceremony was an opportunity to become better acquainted with the four Olympic sportspeople who will represent the Principality at the XXIII Olympic Winter Games:  Alexandra Coletti and Olivier Jenot in alpine skiing and Rudy Rinaldi (pilot) and Boris Vain (brakeman) in bobsleigh.

At this event, H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince also announced the name of the Monegasque delegation's flag bearer at the opening ceremony.  This honour will go to Rudy Rinaldi, who is 24 years of age.
