Launch of Cercle A programme

The Prince’s Government has recently established the “Monaco Government Staff Group”.

Set up as part of a plan to improve recognition at work, it offers beneficiaries a range of services called “Cercle A” (“Circle A”). The aim is to bring together Government employees as a pool and increase their buying power. The programme will enable staff to take advantage of preferential rates on products and services in various areas (culture, leisure activities, travel, events and performances).

The beneficiaries

The beneficiaries are current and retired employees of the Government, assemblies and committees, the Prince’s Palace, City Hall and the Department of Justice. Around 6,000 people are covered.

The partners

From the outset, the Government has sought to promote local businesses. Any retailer, craftsperson, company, public entity or association in the Principality which supplies goods or services to individuals has had the opportunity to propose a perk or a discount by emailing cerclea@gouv.mc , and proposals are still being accepted. For its part, the Monaco Union of Traders and Artisans (UCAM), which has been involved with the initiative since the beginning, is continuing to pilot the programme among its members.

A secure website will be launched at the beginning of February: www.cerclea.mc . This will feature all of the offers available to beneficiaries.

Cercle A services will be expanded over time. Any ideas and suggestions may also be sent to cerclea@gouv.mc .
